Lyna Okara, Esq., currently serves as Director of Skills Development at NDDC Headquarters, Port Harcourt. With 34 years of diverse experience post-call to the Nigerian Bar, she’s traversed roles as a lawyer, journalist, consultant, mediator, and environmental advocate. Notably, she chaired ICPC’s Anti-Corruption Transparency Unit (ACTU) in NDDC, fostering best corporate practices. Her journey includes pivotal contributions to projects like the Ogbia-Nembe road joint venture with SPDC and legal coordination with Accenture for Change Management. An alumna of the University of Dundee’s Environmental Law & Policy program, Lyna is committed to sustainable development. She holds memberships in esteemed associations including the Institute of Strategic Management Nigeria (FSMN) and the International Bar Association (IBA). Passionate about community development, she chairs the Schools Based Management Committee and serves as Board of Trustees Secretary for FGGCA OGA.
